Assalamualaikum and Hello everybody! Its been awhile hasn't it. Oh well, better to have written something than never to have written at all isn't it? So what have I been up to since these past few weeks? Well for one, settling into UKM of course. Its been 3weeks already. Wow! Time flies doesn't it. Lemme tell you what has happen.
1st week:
It was all about orientation. Getting to know him and her and she and he and they. I was also chosen to represent my college which is Kolej Ungku Omar btw, in the inter-college debate. It was in Malay btw so you can tell how sorta suckish it was for me to be all formal and proper without having to let my Manglish out. But it was fun though. Besides, my team won 10th place over 24 team that competed. Although we didn't make it to the quarter finals, being top 10 is something to be proud of. Oh btw I was the 2nd speaker throughout the whole debate so my job was to oppose points from the other side and give out 2 speeches to strengthen my side's stand. Won 2 out of the 3 rounds. :)
Besides that, I was mostly sick during orientation week. Poor restless body. LOL. But an unforgettable memory about orientation week was UKM's annual Perang Dectar. It has been known as a tradition for all 12 colleges in UKM to compete in a cheer off. This year they awarded the teams with the best cheers and well you guessed it, my college won 1st place eventhough we only consisted of 150 people. Imagine that! But during the unofficial Perang Dectar my college (KUO) was the 5th standing college to NOT leave DECTAR. We were against Kolej Ibrahim Yaakub, Kolej Pendeta Zaaba, Kolej Keris Mas and Kolej Rahim Kajai. But being 5th over 12 colleges was still awesome I might say.
At the end of orientation week, I was chosen to become the emcee for our college's dinner. It was definitely a great experience. I also made a few new friends from my college which is like totally awesome btw :)

2nd week:
Now the second week is mostly about getting to know my classmates and where the classes are and all. I'm proud to say among the 30 political science students, 14 of them are all from UiTM law foundation program. One of my lecturers has enlighten me a little bit about my course. He told us among the thousands who applied, only 30 lucky students were chosen to pursue this course in UKM. I was like WOW, he's right. So consider me lucky to be among the 30 Political Science students to be chosen. He also told me, that just because you're pursuing PoSci, it doesn't mean I can't continue my studies in law. In fact, I can actually pursue my Masters in International Law. Its gonna be hard for me to pursue PoSci without having a strong basic on politics, but then again what's life without challenges? So since my application to pursue law keeps on getting turned down, I'll try giving political science a go. Who knows, I might actually be good at it? InsyaAllah :)

During the second week, I also lost my boyfriend. What I mean is, I broke up with him. We've been through a couple breakups before. But none was as long as the one we just went thru recently. He 'accidentally' asked for a breakup from me on Monday and immediately asked for me back a few minutes later. But me with my ego told him no. He worked so hard asking my friends/his friends who were nearby to help him out. Oh, he was in Terengganu at the time btw. On Thursday, Bobby, Shah and Nami took me out for late supper, and suddenly he sat at our table. I swear my heart sorta stopped beating when he sat beside me. Lost for words I was. Shocked that there he was in Bangi. He came with a bouquet of roses and asked for me to take him back. After a while, I did. So we've been together for 11 months and I'm hoping for more months with him. The break up somehow made us a little stronger I guess. :') But yeahh, his actions was a great surprise. I for once felt like a princess. An appreciated princess. Oh gosh! HAHA
